§ 1. Rental certificate
The rental certificate confirms the rental agreement entered into between the tenant and the owner, with Feriepartner Hvide Sande (hereinafter referred to as FP) responsible for mediating between the two parties. The rental agreement covers the holiday accommodation named, and the specifications associated with it.

Agreements between the tenant and FP that amend, modify or revoke these rental conditions must be drawn up in writing in order to be valid. Such amendments shall not render the other provisions in the rental conditions invalid - either individually or as a whole.

§ 2. Number of people / use
The holiday accommodation may not be used for residence by more people than the number stated in the catalogue and on the rental certificate, which also includes children (over the age of 2). Pets are only allowed if clearly stated on the rental certificate.

§ 3. Cleaning / liability
The tenant is contractually obliged to keep the premises clean, and must surrender them in a clean and tidy state at the end of the rental period. Inadequate cleaning upon departure (as determined by the agency) shall result in additional cleaning being carried out for the tenant's account. Final cleaning can be ordered from FP.

The tenant shall be responsible for everything found in the holiday accommodation during the rental period. In the event of damage, the tenant shall be obliged to notify FP as such immediately. Damage not notified before departure shall be repaired for the tenant's account. Damage occurring during the rental period (please otherwise see our terms of insurance) shall be repaired as soon as possible, and items must be replaced before departure. FP has not taken out any insurance to cover the tenant's person or property during the rental period.

§ 4. Terms of payment
Upon conclusion of the rental agreement, FP shall send the tenant confirmation and a rental certificate. 25% of the rent shall be payable at this time, in addition to any cancellation insurance and service charge. The balance must be received by FP 60 days prior to the start of the rental period - due to FP's payment obligations to the owner. In the event that the accommodation is ordered less than 60 days prior to the start of the rental period, the full amount shall be payable upon receipt of the rental certificate. In the event that the full rent is not paid on time, FP shall be entitled to annul the rental agreement without warning.

All prices are excluding electricity, heating, telephone, water, additional equipment, etc. These services shall be charged separately.

§ 5. Deposit
FP shall be entitled to charge a deposit for payment together with the 2nd instalment of the rent. This deposit, which shall serve as security for fulfilment of the tenant's obligations, shall be returned 2 weeks after departure, at the latest, once a check of the premises has been carried out to the agency's satisfaction. Any electricity, oil, etc., consumed may not be set off against the deposit, but must be settled upon departure.

§ 6. Complaints
Should there, contrary to expectation, be any complaints in connection with the holiday accommodation that has been rented, please notify FP as such, in writing, 48 hours after occupation, atthe latest. In the event of complaints related to the standard of cleaning, FP must be notified immediately upon occupation. Otherwise the tenant shall be held liable for any faults or defects, cf. § 3.

§ 7. Cancellation
In the event that the rental agreement is cancelled more than 60 days prior to the start of the rental period, 20% of the gross rent shall be payable, with the minimum fee being DKK 500. Cancellation after this time shall give rise to payment of the full rent, 100%.

In the event that the rental agreement is amended up until 60 days prior to the start of the rental period, a fee of DKK 250 shall be charged. After this time, the rental certificate may no longer be amended. In the event of annulment, any service charge and insurance premium shall not be repaid.

§ 8. Cancellation due to illness / insurance
We recommend that tenants purchase holiday accommodation rental insurance, or at least cancellation insurance without an excess to cover unanticipated illness. FP is able to sell this kind of insurance, which is taken out with:

Europæiske Rejseforsikring A/S
Frederiksberg Allé 3
DK-1790 Copenhagen V

The terms of insurance can be found on FP-s homepage, www.feriepartner.com, and we are also happy to forward them upon request. The premium can also be seen on the homepage and in FP's catalogue. The insurance premium is not repayable in the event of annulment.

§ 9. Force majeure
The rental agreement may be terminated by FP, without notice, as a result of force majeure, strikes, epidemic illnesses, or the like.

§ 10. The Association of Danish Holiday House Letters
FP is a member of the Association of Danish Holiday House Letters, and naturally follows the code of ethics that applies to members of this association. In the event of problems arising in connection with the rental agreement that are not resolved to the tenant's satisfaction, the tenant has the opportunity to bring the dispute before the Association of Danish Holiday House Letters' Complaints Board. Further information about this Complaints Board can be found at: www.fbnet.dk.

§ 11. Misprints
Reservations are made for any pictorial or typographic errors.

§ 12. Local court
Any disputes between FP and the tenant shall be brought before Frederiksberg Town Court, which shall be the agreed local court.
